BODY, SPIRIT, MIND, SOUL and AI (Artificial INTELLIGENCE)

Being 60+ I have witnessed on my journey in AI (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) a VAST (AND GROWING) Technical BEAST tHAT is Functionally DETACHED FROM HUMANITY, WILD WITHOUT BEING CONSCIOUS, CLEARLY CAUGHT AND FLYING AT THE SAME TIME

SO WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

• Learn that that is mEANT by AI - the CAPABILITIES OF AI ARE IMMENSE, however whenever I investigate its role in applications the powerless user community is set as the 'assessor of first resort' in terms of whether its applcation benefits AI when in fact the technology companies wash their hands of all responsibilities for AI's ACTIONS. Their Role is Just to supply the Technologies and Make PROFIT.

• RAISING THE SPECTRE of AI running amoc at humanities expense, we need to act to rein in its design REMIT and subject it's designs to scrutiny, for example an AI SYSTEM that claims to assess patients needs its claims assessed, not just to gain assent from the medical community but from the general public before it is more generally released.

• Slowing it's development down and subjecting solutions to real-world scrutiny appears the only waY.
